Sanjay Lavakare was previously part of Bengaluru's IT scene, but as a retired engineer, he discovered his true passion lied in art. After working in the IT industry for 16 years, he decided to pursue painting full-time instead of taking a sabbatical offered by his company. Sanjay has been showcasing his art at the Chithra Santhe annually, where he presented his latest piece capturing the spirit of Koramangala. Collaborating with his old neighbors Ashish and Ritu from L Street, Koramangala, they curated 50-60 distinctive elements unique to the neighborhood. Sanjay included these elements in his painting, some of which are obvious while others require a bit of thought.
